Mandorlinero comes from the union of two products which are typical of Avola, the local almond and the Nero d’Avola wine. Our small farm, situated in the Avola area, place of origin of the Nero d’Avola vine, has preserved and enhanced the history and traditions of Nero d’Avola wine for four generations.The Mandorlinero dessert wine is a new addition: Nero d’Avola I.G. Terre Siciliane flavoured with almonds. A sweet taste obtained through the union of essence of bitter almonds and the marasca cherry taste of the Nero d’Avola.
